Kent L. Phillips, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Phillips has been providing outstanding orthodontic care to the Reno, Nevada area for 25 years! He earned his doctorate in dentistry and master’s degree in orthodontics from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He has served as a clinical assistant professor for the Craniofacial Pain and TMJ Dysfunction Program at the University of Nevada’s School of Medicine, and stays up to date on the latest advancements in orthodontics by maintaining active membership in the following professional organizations:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
- Nevada State Society of Orthodontists
- Northern Nevada Dental Society
- Nevada Dental Association
- World Federation of Orthodontists
Dr. Phillips is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (see link below), a significant recognition an orthodontist receives after successfully undergoing addition examination by the American Board of Orthodontics. Patients can be confident that Dr. Phillips has done everything possible to verify his skills and professional aptitude to practice orthodontics.
Growing up in Reno, Dr. Phillips developed a love and admiration for the history of the state. In his time away from the office, he enjoys snow skiing, wake-boarding, and is an avid explorer throughout the valleys and mountain ranges of Nevada. Dr. Phillips is married to Dr. Pat Phillips [higher education administration and special education] and has three sons and four grandchildren.
